Domestic frost protection

Overview

The PipeTrace ECO offers a quick and safe frost protection solution designed for domestic applications, such as the frost protection of loft pipes, outside taps or caravan water pipes. The cable is a self-regulating heater and is the ideal product for both plastic and metal pipes. It cannot over heat and they can be crossed over without fear of damage.

The system is a pre-terminated heater with an inbuilt thermostat and comes complete with a power on and heater energised LED indication. There is also a 1 metre 3core cold lead that is ready for connection directly into a fused spur unit or socket. 

The system uses approx. 15W/mtr which makes the running costs extremely low and with the inbuilt thermostat it will only operate when needed, providing peace of mind that your water pipes will no longer freeze in the winter months.
